Hello ๐
Welcome and thank you for dropping by. I'm so glad to be a part of your Notion journey.
Ah, task and project management. So simple, yet so hard. I have managed projects involving 20+ people from different organizations. Yet, so far I havenโt come across a fully satisfying working system for managing my personal projects. I've used JIRA, Asana, a physical notebook, a load of spreadsheets, and many others. None can get me to focus in just the way Iโm looking for. So I created TaskBox.

When I say personal, I mean there's only one person working on the project, you. For projects, I mean a set of tasks organized to satisfy certain objectives. And for tasks, I mean meaningful actions that propel you towards the goals of projects.
Example:
Watering the plant is not a task. It's a to-do. But if you have a project titled "Revamping my front yard garden" and "hosing down the garden" is the final step, then "hosing down the garden" is a task. You see? Itโs not about any thing you do, but things you do for a long-term objective of creating something new in your life.
Why so strict?
I think most of personal task management disasters came from not having a clear definition of actions (more explanation in the Actions section).
TaskBox is designed to
I imagine TaskBox to fit perfectly for the following example use cases:
